The Malta Council for Science and Technology has launched the Science & Technology Cooperation Sino-Malta Fund. The thematic priorities are:

1. Maritime & Aquaculture
2. Transport
3. Digital Technology

Applications are invited from applicants based in Malta and have a Chinese partner already approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of the People’s Republic of China.

The aim of the Sino-Malta Fund is to intensify scientific collaboration between the two countries to strengthen R&D activities, technology transfer and to carry out comprehensive, steady and long-term cooperation.

The next application deadline for Stage 1 – Pre-Proposals is Monday 15^th June 2020.

This Call is being carried out in accordance with the framework of the Agreement on Science and Technological Co-operation between the Government of Malta and the Government of the People’s Republic of China and subsequent agreements by Joint Commission on Science and Technology between the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of the People’s Republic of China and the Malta Council for Science and Technology (MCST).
