Startups invited to join forces with Kaspersky Lab to grow cybersecurity opportunities
Kaspersky Lab has launched a new initiative – the Kaspersky Open Innovations Program – to foster collaboration with innovative tech-based startups, to help accelerate development and generate new business opportunities together. Growing businesses from all over the world, working on advanced projects on the periphery of cybersecurity will have access to the company’s channel partner ecosystem, along with its huge global client base and industry-leading expertise.
Brokerage event at Malta AI and Blockchain Summit organised by EEN Malta
The brokerage event organised by The Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry, as part of Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) in Malta, welcomed 80 international business participants from 15 countries with over 160 B2B meetings. An online platform was created to foster new international business partnerships and collaborations in this sense. The initiative was aimed at nurturing international networking ties for ambitious Malta based companies by identifying new business partners and sourcing new technologies. This falls squarely in line with the EEN mantra of “Connect, Innovate, Grow”.
IoT4Industry: new call for financial support to SMEs
The H2020-INNOSUP-1 project IoT4Industry just published its second and last call for financial support to third parties. IoT4Industry is a 30 months project, with a budget of 4.96 M €, funded by the H2020-INNOSUP-1 action of the European Commission. This project seeks to support EU growth and competitiveness through the development of a new cross-sectoral industrial value chain based on the integration and use of IoT and related components (sensors, chips, electronics component, communication networks, cloud computing, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, digital security, etc.) into manufacturing tools, machines and robots, industrial processes, factories environment, supply chain integration, intra logistics & logistics 4.0 product life cycle, smart packaging, etc. It will achieve this goal through the cross-border collaboration between SMEs and other RDI actors of the ICT and advanced manufacturing sectors.
